Since I’m doing my taxes, I thought I’d post an update for 2013, just in case anyone is still reading this blog and is interested. I stopped tracking the detailed stats a few months ago. Between my work and the two kids, I haven’t touched any of my games in months. I may get back to this at some point, but right now, it seems quite likely that this may be my only post in 2014.
Anyway, here’s how I did in 2013, with the numbers somewhat rounded up/down:
Barnes & Noble: $300
Amazon: $15
Google: $1750
Total: $2600
Take out around $200 in web server fees and other costs like that, and I’m left with around $2400 in income. Still not enough to retire on 
But not too shabby for income that came in without me having to do anything. Maybe if I had a hundred more games like this, I could think about retiring. Some day
Hope everyone else is having fun with their Android game development. For now, my life has taken a different direction.
